A local charity supporting people whose lives are affected by cancer

welcome to Dereham Cancer Care

Support & Information Centre

Our Centre is staffed by Volunteers who offer support, friendship and information to cancer patients, their families and carers – indeed anyone whose life is touched by cancer in the Dereham area.

Visit the Centre for a cuppa and a chat with one of our volunteer befrienders, some of whom have had cancer themselves and may have experienced what you are going through. Others have lost a loved one to cancer and are now here to support you. We are here to help with your cancer journey.

We stock a wide range of booklets from Macmillan Cancer Support covering cancer types, treatment options, living with cancer, nutrition and well being.

We offer the loan of equipment including wheelchairs and other aids.

We can arrange appointments for reflexology and Indian head massage with our qualified therapist. Appointments are available to patients and their loved ones, and in some cases the charity is pleased to sponsor the treatments.

Our quiet room is ideal for one to one discussions. The community room is used for coffee mornings and workshops. The games room has a pool table and there is always a jigsaw on the go!
